Hello,
I'm so glad you stopped by because I want you to know your life has a meaningful purpose. God created you with unique gifts and talents, and He has a plan for your life. I believe our greatest adventure is to live the life of our dreams. God's plan for you is greater than you can imagine. When I began my adult life, I could not have imagined what my life would be like. I have lived through many seasons of life filled with joy, sorrow, and exciting adventures. I realize the years I have left are fewer than the years I have already lived, and it compels me to share my wisdom with you. I hope reading my book or visiting my site will inspire you to pursue your dreams, because with God the possibilities are endless.
Whatever stage of life you are in, whether you feel like you've got it all together or you feel like your life is falling apart, I invite you to read my book about embracing God's grace. I pray you will be inspired as you read how God brought me through some dark places, and I hope it will inspire you to seek God in your life as well.
A Time for Everything
1 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
2 a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace
Ecclesiastes 3
Even if you are in the winter season toward the end of your life, God is not finished with you. If you still have a pulse, you still have a purpose; so ask God what He would have you to do.
May the Lord give you peace and joy for your journey.
Judy
My journey led me to fall in love with my high school sweetheart, and we were married at age 19. I had my first child at age 20 and my second at age 21. Ten years later, I started all over again when we took in two foster babies and adopted them. Back then, my calling was to be a wife and mother. I was also very involved with my church and lead a very busy life. Then at age 32, I took on the challenge of going to college to become a Registered Nurse. I still don't know how I did it. It was very difficult going to school with two toddlers and two tweens at home, but I am living proof that it definitely is possible. I learned to “never give up”! That is my motto and I want it to be yours too because with God the possibilities are endless!
For the span of 35 years I was raising my children, and for 20 of those years I was also working as a Registered Nurse, but not too long ago I entered the wonderful world of retirement, and I am enjoying my well deserved, tranquil, empty nest.
My previous life of stress and beautiful chaos has been transformed into a slow paced, peaceful, place of serenity. With pride I admit, "I've earned it." Now, my time is spent on all the things I didn't have time to enjoy when I was busy raising our next generation.
In the above image, my husband and I are dressed for a costume party. He still makes me laugh after forty plus years.
